Better Hunting in Skyrim

In Oblivion hunting wasn't as great as I thought it would be, or wild life in general. You would be traveling to the next city on your horse and all of the sudden a deer would appear in front of you and just stand there. Even if you bumped into it with your horse it wouldn't run. If you got off your horse however, it would run but you could often outrun it and slash it with your sword. So what i'm saying is that i think Skyrim's hunting should be a little more realistic and feel more accomplishing.

1.You can't outrun a deer unless you have that shout that makes you run faster.

2.They should not just randomly appear so close to you so that when you do see them they are already running from you.

3.Also If you shoot them with an arrow and they don't die you should be able to follow their blood trail and find them.

I know Todd said they are improving wild life by giving them dens and things to do, hopefully this helps in hunting also.
There are many other things that would help make hunting better so if you can think of any post them. I have just always wanted this in a tes game so that the game lasts longer because every now and then I will be hunting. Maybe for hours straight even. Sorry if this as been posted, i'm pretty sure it hasn't, at least to this extent.

Hunting was sure not the thing I hoped it would be last time. Yes, running down a deer and bashing it to death with my fists wasn't exacly the challenge I wanted. One-shot kills with the bow is a step in the right direction. I think more realistic wildlife A.I. isn't too much to ask for. Give deer a high stealth awareness, for example. I don't think the blood tracking is essential (nor do I think it will be included). But I'd like to see some motivation to hunt in the game world other than making a miniscule amount of money and a minimal alchemical ingredient. Would be great to use pelts to make clothing or armor, or put them in your house as trophies. It would be great to have a more rewarding economic role for trading pelts. The game will have cooking, so there's some potential there for something unique. Would be interesting to have a hunting challenge quest line... kill a deer, bear, mammoth, etc. There's definitely a lot that could be done.

Yeah i was getting ahead of myself with the whole blood trickling thing. This isn't some dangerous hunts game haha. Yeah those are some good ideas.

I hunted a couple times in Oblivion, but I didn't find it rewarding. Would have been cool if you could take the antlers or skin as a trophy.... that wouldn't have done you much good with Oblivion's item placement (or lack thereof).
