Thank you.
Thank you.
*Wonders why people never read other people's signatures*
I don't know how to embed screenies into the post.
Also, when I made my first post, I could not post links, as I had not made the required number of posts to be able to provide links.
Apologies.
Thank you, My Liege. Still haven't figured out to embed fotos (I tried using [ img ] - [ img/ ] tags)
Pssst. Little secret: I have two eggsacs and a baby bag, too. Factory originals. And I also use some of Cenobite's sixy Armour Mods (sixy Ordinatore Armour). I never understood (and probably never will) the propensity of some to tote a perpetually dull axe with them all the time. It's just a game, and a fun one at that.
Also, thank you for the kind words and compliments, all of you. It's my first mod, and I wanted to make it count. I hope BTB includes the armour mods in his List of Essential Mods, complete with witty and hilarious commentary.-D (That's a hint to update your site and links, Uncle BTB!!!)
Oh, for those not in the know, Spirited Treasure created http://www.wolflore.net/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=1674 to complete the Better Clothes line of BB improvements!

You did good work, Tiebrake. Elaura and I are both impressed by it.
Can't embed images here, link them instead.
I think it's hilarious to argue realism in anything to do with a genre that continues to put forth the also hilarious idea that the skimpiest of armor is somehow the most protective. These are beautiful and I will happily use them. I'd love to see an addon for Ashkosh's armor in Uvirith's Legacy as well, so I can remove the last of my Divine Domina replacers.
Oh MAN! And I've been calling you "he". I'm so sorry. I'm usually better at knowing who be a woman 'round these here parts. I think I might reinstall Morrowind soon. I'll definitely link to screenshots of these when I do.
("liege" . . . ?? ))
Thank you!-D
I'll look at it and see if something can be done, if it's something simple, I'll do it. The Iron and Orcish are first on the list and do a retex of Divine Domina.
The next project will be to update a mod I have for Complete Nordic Trollbone and Better Bodify it.
No worries.-D TBH, It's not a concern of mine; I'm simply tiebrakre. He, she, it, whatevs; I'm not certainly not bent out of shape over it.-))))
OH NOES! The Ya-Ya Sisterhood and Jezebel will revoke my Girl Card (I deplore Amy Tan's writing!)
That is a huge compliment, and worth the trouble of learning (some of) 3ds Max. Thank you.))))
**LORD** Dlichnum, no? *giggle*
Apparently at least 4 girls are present in this thread.
Anyway, as for the chest plate. Armor has never been that tight fitting and assuming a woman didnt have boobs the size of her head, she would probably be able fit in normal armor. However, if you are making armor specifically for a woman, I dont think a bit of stylizing on the chest plate is all the bad. However, I do think the "Alternate" versions are a bit much as a girl with that kind of size seriously isnt going to be doing a ton of combat. Now, obviously we dont need to do everything as realistic as possible so I think the point is kinda moot when you say to each his/her own. People like to go with what looks good to them. In some cases, what looks good goes with realism.
A direct hit? In Morrowind? I didn't know that those two things were compatible.
I'm more likely to get a direct hit by a flame spell, mudcrab pincers or Nix-hound paws
While I don't mind the flat http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-item-Dawnguard_Armor_Female_01.jpg in Skyrim I prefer the look of the briastplates which are http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-item-Steel_Plate_Armor_Female.jpg - the dragons don't seem to care what they look like as they carpet bomb me
With BB the issue for me is the DD size - it would be nice to get some chest replacements that toned it down a few sizes
In the end it's nice to have someone contributing to new armour - which generally has been so bad for me in Morrowind I prefer to go unarmoured.
There is such a mod (at least a BB replacer) on Wolflore. I can't get the link right now, I'm at work.
What do you mean with unnecessarily revealing? Practically speaking or do you have a problem with female forms?
I mean, I also don't like my Morrowind to look like hentai but I don't mind subtle changes, making a difference between male and female armour, like this mod does.
Maybe from a practical real life standpoint boob plates are a stupid idea, but having them ingame doesn't ruin my gaming atmosphere. I guess we all experience gaming in a different way.
btw. I'd like to download Better Bodies 2.9.. Is there another place to download it from, than TESALL.RU ?
What about a huge genital-plate for the male Redguards?
I never understood how one could care for "sixy" models in games. Have a look what one can find on Skyrim nexus, kinda perverted weird if you ask me...
I always play my male characters, do I have to worry about my orientation now?
(sorry for participating in offtopic talk)
Well... I think it's relatively easy to understand, just might be harder for you to relate.
Morrowind modding has typically been more.. reserved.. than Oblivion and Skyrim. This mod is certainly not even comparable to the ones to which you refer.
Yes, both correct I didnt meant the mod this thread was originaly about, at all.
Sorry for offtopic again. The armors are well done!
http://www.wolflore.net/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=1461 If so, registration is required because it's a nvde mod. Anyway, here's the readme for it:
This mod shouldn't have any issues with it since the cuirass replaces the chest and doesn't have any skin showing.
Yep, that's the one to which I was referring; obviously it won't effect clothing or armor though. Thanks for getting the link, Jac.
Yes, thank you Jac. I can use this as a guide to perform bust reductions on a couple of the armours. Bonemold armours will stay the same, since the clavicle parts of the pauldrons are so large, and the cuirasses are actually quite proportional to them (this is also true of Orcish, Iron, and Dwemer, but they will get bust reductions. Iron is completed and uses stock textures; Orcish is still a WIP)
Don't believe me? D/L the mod and find out.
Dragonbone does have a complete set mod released, like the Trollbone, and I will BB-fy it as well.
Correct. Which is why I don't understand the kerfuffle, aside from the strict, mind you, **STRICT** adherence to so-called "realism". However, I will go back and update the plate armours with bustlines that may be more appealing and favourable to a segment of the Morrowind playing population. It's easier for me to simply reduce the curves of the bust, using the curves of the Smaller Bust Resource as a guide, than to exchange torsos.
I think I now understand why BTB was/is so exasperated with the "Lizard teats" fracas, speaking as someone with a set of factory originals. **winks**
I don't really understand what people meant by "revealing"? Your armour doesn't show any skin, and simply provides a more feminine cut. Most of the people giving you crap about it are the EXACT same people demanding female versions of the armour. In short, you will never make them happy. I'd just ignore the stupidity, else it will drive you mad. I know from experience!
The problem with boob plates is well explained http://www.tor.com/blogs/2013/05/boob-plate-armor-would-kill-you.
Anyway, about your mod and my own feelings, I wanted to tell you that your duke armor looks very nice and is clearly my favorite. Well done !
Guys, get off of her back. Seriously. We're talking about a game where talking cats throw fireballs at you, you kill a floating squid with a spoon, and you have to kill the heart of a god. And you all are ranting about the realism of the ARMOUR, some of which is made of insect carapace?
This is getting completely ridiculous and is unnecessary, and seriously needs to stop.
After having playtested these, I just wanted to stop in and reaffirm that I do appreciate the opportunity the community's been given to benefit from this well-made, thoughtful addition to a top-notch mod. As complements to each other, they accomplish their stated intentions with an admirable straightforwardness and efficiency.
I'd also like to apologise for my earlier divergences from the intended topic of the thread - this really wasn't the time or place to engage in debates on tangential but ultimately irrelevant side issues. And I think we can all agree that just about everyone would do well to review Elaura's "Golden Rules of Modding" once in a while.
However, your comment here (and one or two others in that post, to be honest):
make me think that you're not quite serious about burying the proverbial axe. (Especially since it's patently obvious that the problem with http://costumecommunityservice.tumblr.com/post/51850220329/amydentata-batchix-whatifthewolvescome is, well, http://womenfighters.tumblr.com/post/43562502843/lady-armor-exposed.) As you said yourself, it must be tiresome to carry - why not put it down, really? That goes for all of us.
Edit: Spelling, grammar, etc.
Anytime. As I said before, Tiebrake, we love this mod.
As for those with axes to grind, go chase some naked Nords and let those of us who like this mod discuss it. That's not to say that you can't participate if you have any suggestions for future sets or find technical issues, but the whole issue of whether or not there should be boob plates is plain silly. If you don't like them, don't use the mod. It's almost as bad as the flak AlienSlof got when she released her revealing male clothing. How someone else enjoys their game has no bearing on how you enjoy yours.
I tend to agree that Psychodog Studios did get a wee bit, shall we say enthusiastic, with the, well, bits.-D
This is good critique, and am working now on the reductions and release them as plug-inless replacers. After all, "BETA" is in the post and mod title. **giggle**
(3ds MAX is currently going through one of its crashing fits - I went to Autodesk and tried all of their suggestions; it still laughs at me from time to time.)
To my knowledge, TESALL.RU and FULLREST.RU are the only places to find that version, though it may be offered on Nexus very soon (I haven't checked yet).
We owe much to the Russkij (i Ukranij) Narod, doing all that modelling work, no?
This is also good critique: I don't mind a bit if someone writes, "Nice work, but not my cup o' tea."
This made me laugh out loud! Thanks, My Liege.-D It **does** sound ridiculous when you think about it, doesn't it?-D
