I got Better Music System to work!

The problem however is that rather than CTDs, the game will lag or stutter about 5 minutes into a playing a saved game rendering my framerate to nothing. I tried CCCP codec pack, untagging all my music with mp3tag, normalizing the gain AND transcoding all my music to 192 kbps and 44.1 khz, the same as vanilla mp3s and it still stutters like mad.

Has anyone had the same issue? The readme says its a codec issue most probably. I thought CCCP would solve that, but it hasn't. Any thoughts?
