[RELz] Better Skulls

Gotta love this mod :) Hey, could I use some of these textures in my mod? I've been thinking of adding bone wands to my next weapon pack, would be great since I've allready made the meshes with original MW skull meshes and textures

The PES link is the fourth line of the OP. is it not obvious enough do you think?

Heh... obviously not. :embarrass:

I guess I'm just used to seeing an underlined link outside of the quoted readme.

Hi,

I just downloaded it at PES, the readme says it's v1.1, I assume it's in fact the v1.2 ?

I am really enjoying the look of the various skulls, you did a very nice job. :)

As great as these skulls are, therein lies a problem; It's quite jarring to see these amazing new skulls next to the old, low-res bone statics. Have you thought about doing a replacement for those as well?

I second this. I started playing again after a bit of a hiatus, and the first thing I noticed was how crappy the bones on the prison ship look compared to your beautiful skulls.

Yes, I have thought of trying to improve the bone statics. *chuckle* Experiments using bits of the skeleton haven't been entirely successful, but there are a few other avenues to explore.

An update is up on PES at the moment, though it is just a smalll one. I tweaked the misc skull textures, changed the filter mode on the two glow mapped skulls for what I hope is less pixelation, and added matching Bondelord skull texture.

Okay, having added a bonelord skull texture to match the rest of the "Better Skulls" textures, I had a thought: Why are there no bonelord skull misc objects? I think a few of them scattered through the game would make an entertaining addition, whether as completely new items or replacing a few of the existing skulls. What do you think? I'll throw together a quick screenshot of what it would look like tonight.

I wonder if the file in PES has actually changed? I downloaded the file, but the readme states that it is version 1.3. I could not find any files in the archive which had timestamp of 2011. Also, the download link in PES page (where you link to) states that the file is 3,3 Mb, but the downloaded file is only 2,3 Mb.

I definitely uploaded the new file. It is possible that download doesn't get updated as fast as the description, which is bizarre. Though I think it might have happened last time...

EDIT: Try it again, I just downloaded the new 3.3 mb file no problem.

Strange. I still seem to be getting the 1.3 version. Perhaps it's a cache issue or something. I tried emptying the browser cache. I'll try again later, perhaps it'll fix itself.

Finally managed to download 1.4. That was hard :teehee:

I see there are new skeleton textures. I think feet textures are missed.
