Q6600 4x 2,4ghz
4gb ddr2 800mhz
Ati Radeon 6850 hd
win7 64bit

Advanced settings all deaktivated. shadow mid. details high 5 - 20 fps ingame
Shadow deactivation per Console.... wont give me FPS boost
no matter what Resolution 1920x1080 same fps as 800x600

Friends Spec

Dualcore 2x 2,6ghz
2gb ddr2 800mhz
Ati Radeon 6850 hd
win7 64bit

resolution 1920x1080 works perfect. with details.



We use the same ATI drivers.

i test. catalyst 11.3 11.5 11.5a
no changings for me.

DirectX up to date.



why the f.... i got those low FPS `? Crysis 2 Black ops. works @maximum.... without lags.

Same here i have adjusted the settings up and down and no difference though the lines are gone so thank-you Splash Damage but i think something has screwed up our fps on a CPU side.

4870 512mb OC: 875/1090 (Not tried without OC)
Samsung 750gb 32mb Cache, 7200rpm

Silly question do you have two screens? If so try disconnecting one, reboot and see if that helps?

For Nvidia their is an option in the Control Panel that is "Multi-display / Mixed GPU Acceleration" for games like brink it needs to be set to "Single Display" or the FPS is terrible, don't know if ATI have a similar setting though.

sounds like your using software openGL instead of hardware, seems to me in Catalyst Control, there's a setting for openGL or DirectX optimization, make sure it's set to openGL

running 2 4890 in crossfire and having the same problem, super low fps no matter what settings I'm using.

You'll need to go to the splash damage forums, they have alot of relevant threads there with alot of fixes. this forum is more of a community but they will help when they can.

And runs little slowly getting minimun visual efect and resolition.
And my wife pc

same GC
same OS

runs perfect.
Maybe game runs bat in Q600 and Q6700 i thing thats CPU have same chip tipe.

ATI just runs awful in Brink

Maybe drivers will help in the future

so i got an ati XFX 5770 my max fps is 40 when in tunnels when i reach a big place it wil drop to like 17 its crap!!!
