Better than Clanfear?

Post » Tue Sep 23, 2014 1:18 pm

I'm looking for better monster than Clanfear, whitch I can use ( call). I stated from Skeleton, by Headless Zombie to Clanfear, so I'm looking better one now. I think about:

Frost Atronach

Storm Atronach( I have only 400 magic energy with subjects, this one is so 'expensive' for me)

Skeleton-Champion

Spider Daedra

Daedroth

What do you think about it?

Thanks.

Well, I believe the Clannfear is the fastest one so at least he′ll charge directly at your foe, making him a good ally. Otherwise I personally like the Frost and the Storm Atronach.

Btw, welcome to the forums and have a http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpg!

All things considered, no monster is better then a Clanfear. Even though it's not a Master level summons.

Clanfears are very fast, very aggressive, hit hard and can soak up a bunch of damage.

Other summons have some positives and negatives, but I think Clanfear is best all around.

Also some of the summons (undead in particular) just seem to float or wander around without hitting alot of the time that they are summoned. A Clanfear is always very aggressive.

I also like the cute and adorable way the Clanfear snuggles up to my character, after eviscerating my enemies.

Its hard to beat the clanfear for its aggressiveness and all around toughness. Depends on the situation though and what you are trying to accomplish with the summon. If I want to block a passage so no one can get through, I think Frost Atronachs are best for that. My characters who summon use a variety of other summons too, depending on the types of enemies they are facing.

If you are in the Shivering Isles, you can get a summons for a Replete Shambles. They're quite powerful.

I'm another who prefers the clannfear, regardless of level. A fast, mean, foe-seeking missile. I've used 'em all and prefer Spike the Clannfear. At higher levels, my mystic archer likes to buff him up with a combo (heal over time and shield) spell once he's engaged.

Clannfears are incredibly quick at assessing the situation, identifying his target and charging. While other summons dawdle around trying to figure out what's going on, the clannfear's feet are already racing toward a foe even as he's still materializing.

I have a fondness for summoning the daedroth. There is something about this big hulking brute that I find aesthetically appealing.

Daedroths are lots of fun, but clannfears are probably the best all-around summons for fighting.

I find the low-end daedra to be hard to manage in a fight. Scamps and flame atronachs both prefer their ranged attack, so they tend to back up as the fight, leading the enemy back to your position. Clannfears go immediately forward to engage the enemy, which works best for low-health, unarmored mage types, who dislike being hit. The daedroths are big, and like the big atronachs, are good for blocking up narrow corridors. So they're good shields.

At the lower end, I prefer zombies, who are aggressive enough (and durable enough) to actually fight for you.

Slightly off topic, but my conjuring characters tend to be specialists. My "Fitzie" character only summons undead (she's a Necromancer), while my "Desdaemone" only summoned Daedra like scamps, clannfears, and daedroths (not atronachs or dremoras.)

I tend to prefer scamps at the lower levels. Zombies are tough and aggressive but fairly slow. Scamps have ranged attack and a pretty decent melee attack. I know a lot of people don't like scamps but I've always had good luck with them.

Ok, thank you all. I confess my 'tactics' based on the scamps( low lever, right, just about 15) .When the scamp dying frequently, I change them for more powerful beast, but I read I will not do that again, but Clanfear is the best... Thanks again. I though about my sword-assist for scamp( scamp-means 'beast' there, right?), armour disintegration, maybe offensive spell.
