so for the past four or so days I've been virtually blind. This was terrifying to me since I've only got one eye, and I've always been extremely careful with it in the past, so for this to happen randomly, and at the start of what will be a very busy semester for me was extremely upsetting for me.
so today I had to pay a visit to specialist who realized that it's not the eye that's the problem, but an infection in my sinuses that are spreading ot eye. So to solve this he was going to have to penetrate my tear-duct and drain.
what this basically meant was, he had to jam a horrifyingly large needle into my eye-socket while I was still conscious.
I've been through 73 surgeries, some of which were pretty harrowing (one of them required completely opening my chest) but that...wow, that was probably the worst medical-based experience I've ever had, words can't describe how horrible that all was, and the worst part is he's going to have to do again next week.
in any case, I can now say that's probably the worst medical procedure I've ever gone through, so my question to BGSF is...what's the worst medical ordeal you've ever had to endure?
PS: I apologize for any typos or improper structure, my vision is starting to clear up now, but it's not perfect.
