Realistic? Really? It looks terrible on my 28" monitor. It looks terrible in any resolution beyond 1920 x 1080. The textures are less than 500 megabytes (look at Textures.pak filesize in Crysis2). Crysis 1's textures were almost a FULL GIGABYTE.

The textures look crap.

The shaders are an improvement.

The shadows are crap. Fuzziness is not the same as soft shadows. Soft shadows is DirectX 10 and 11.

Crysis 2 does not support mods, so doing a real life mod on CryEngine 3 is impossible.

Black Ops is ****, we know that already.

If you can hardly play because you are too busy admiring how "realistic" the game looks, go to a museum or something. It's probably more enjoyable then. Also, don't play Crysis 2 in 3D.

Get BF3 when it comes out and make sure you have DX11 supported card. Then you can REALLY admire how realistic the game looks and "hardly play it" due to that fact.
