BGS Celebration For Skyrim?

What?

It's a reference to Matriach Benezia's line from Mass Effect. Not related, I know, just for fun.

EDIT : And I referenced it because vsions said "you guys are one step closer to getting doused with epicness come 11/11/11" which reminded me of "one step closer to the conduit" which was the precursor to the line I stated.

A few things can be tested for all the indoor and outdoor cells of the game, like:

Rendering: A rendering of cells to show a new improvement in visual quality.

Or more likely:

An auto-map of some sort: A new sort of cute and useful auto-map for each cell that gives the info they want in a great way.

Or even:

A new method for enemy and loot spawn that works great, and eliminates the level scaling altogether.

Or maybe: A new method for AI navigation that resulted in a great behavior fidelity of the actors in-game.

Or some such.

With all the negativity in the forums, it's reassuring when a dev comes and promise "epicness". Thanks guys, keep up the good work :foodndrink:

They have successfully added delicious cupcakes to every cell in Skyrim!

I could celebrate that. :celebration:

One small piece of information that Pete gave us might indicate the size of Skyrim. He mentioned a test on 10k cells, just how many cells (including the over world) did Oblivion have? I don't believe it was 10k was it?

Cupcakes were indeed very good. Red Velvet...mmmmmmmm. "A successful type of test of every cell in the world." basically means you guys are one step closer to getting doused with epicness come 11/11/11 :celebration:

I cannot wait for skyrim!

Maybe that they could COC to every cell in the game and have it not crash on rendering. Or, have things fall through the world. :)

That is something I do hope they fixed.

I can say very definitively that the cupcakes were, indeed, delicious.

They have a deadline to meet.

They can still move that deadline if they wanted to. It's not like they have an official SRS agreement with us gamers. :P

... Darn it. Now I'm craving cupcakes.

Cells have an arbitrary size limit. Even if Oblivion doesn't have 10,000 cells (which, given the size of the exterior, the numbers of interiors, I'd suspect it would be pretty close), we can't say anything about Skyrim's size, as the new engine may have new cell sizes.
