Big Gates and Minutemen Quests?

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 5:58 am

Hi guys, 2 quick questions: how on earth do I get to build those big gates on settlements? I mean do I get that ability through a magazine, Perk?

About the Minutemen quests, do they ever stop or at least change their nature? I do one and another pops. I am only level 26 and did not visit Diamond City or do any BoS quests, and the Minutemen quests seem to never ever stop?

One more thing, how the hell do I scrap a power armor? I have 2 on my settlement, completely alike, and I would love to scrap one but I cannot...

Cheers

The gates? You mean in the fences category in structures? I think you can build those by default.

The Big gates are under Structures\ Fences. Not wood nor metal just scroll past those.

Don't think you can scrap Power Armor, though you can sell its parts. Anyway why would you? Can always give it to a settler on guard duty.

Minute Men quests will likely run out when there are no more settlements is my guess.

I thought the minutemen 'help' quests were sort of like radiant (repeatable) quests.... and I think there are like... 30ish some odd settlements around the commonwealth. So even if that is the case, that's still A LOT of save us quests.

Yeah I guess so (about the Minutemen quests). regarding the power armor, I can't even figure out how to trade it with a settler...

The MM quests settlement quests are radiant quests. They will go on forever.

The repeatable quests are a free way to power level early since you can do as many as you want and the XP is decent.

Overall they're just there to clog up your quest log though.

My guess: You have to target them in Workshopmode, and then assign them the PA.

After you find all the settlements there's only radient quests left. Defending a settlement and "bounty hunting". Where you have to clear an area and kill its boss.
