Biggest Skyrim Disappointment

Post » Tue Jan 14, 2014 12:17 pm

There is a lack of crossdressing in Skyrim.

Nothing fills my heart with more joy than being able to make a man wear a ladies dress. And Vici's wedding dress is so pretty, I know they have a male equivalent I played this game on the 360 and got Rashir at lvl 60 a long time ago it feels odd to have him starting at 1 on a new console.

One of my biggest joys was to run around in Fable 2 or 3 in ladies garments slaughtering innocence. And then the survivors would talk, talk and say

"I didn't know if it were a very ugly woman or a man in woman's garments"

Maybe there's a mod for it.

I am not into creating cross dressing it transgender characters, but it would have been nice to be able to change clothes on any character I marry in game on my xbox. Would love to put Muiri in Tavern dress or see my beloved Jordis in Nocturnal dress.

Since we're discussing clothing, I have a few questions:

How are all these armors made to fit one size? Rashir is not very muscular, he's very lean and muscular, yet he can put on the armor of a giant Nord, twice his size and wear it as if it perfectly fit him

Or another question

How do shoes on woman's bodies magically fit a males foot?

stretch metal. (for just the same reason, you can easily fit 58 ingots in your pocket :-)

...now THAT's an easy one...

big

feet

women

The most disappointed I've ever felt about Skyrim was the day I found out there would be no more DLC. I checked the front page every day - religiously, and then I see http://www.bethblog.com/2013/04/15/moving-to-our-next-adventure/, devastated, upset, I didn't move for what felt like hours.. I for all intents and purposes was dead to the world. :dead:

On PC, open dev console (~)

use sixchange command. You keep your face, but the body's gender will change, thus your wear the opposite gender's clothes.

This is actually something that does bother me somewhat. Especially because certain things, like the Master Robes of Pick a School of Magic look much better on men than they do on women. Then there's things like the Ancient Nord Helmets, which have ram horns for men and deer antlers for women. I'd rather these be separate items that I could wear regardless of gender, rather than two different versions that are gender locked because of reasons.

Someone finally caught on to the deeper meaning behind the visage of something a little jokeish.

To me, I find it weird when Vici's dress suddenly has a male version. Cause then it's just like, hmmm really now. *raises eyebrow*

I agree. I feel like they should have went with a more Fable style for clothing options. Miner Clothers [Female] Miner Clothes [Male], etc.

Because you're trying to add realism to places that realism would be extremely unnecessary in. "Oh, let's go to the shoe store. Uh oh, my character can only fit a size 12 and this store only has smaller sizes. I better go hit up payless in Solitude to look for my size!"

Actually another member hit the nail with the hammer. If you read above. REL Dovakin. It isn't really about size 12 shoe v.s. size 7. It has to do merely with the realism of gender. Not where clothes magically turn towards whatever gender you are.

Love you too. ;)

Having come from that series into this one, it's one of the things I'd like to have as well, not just for ridiculous fun. I really dislike some of the gendered outfits and would prefer to either be able to use the other's option(mostly women using men's) or have unisix options.
