Why can't I bind controls to the keypad on the keyboard!!!

why are they all reserved!! I'm left handed and use the mouse with my left hand and every other game lets me bind to the keypad, even FO3/FO3:NV but not FO4!?!

I can't even play the game...

Why do developers do this!? I can understand maybe the F keys but come on...let us bind whatever where ever.

Third thread I've seen about this, so I guess it's true (or the remap is hidden or somehow convoluted). But I suspect it's like Skyrim was, and we'll have to use a third party program to "trick" the game into letting us use the numpad. Sad.
