I already know I'm a moderately decent writer (/ego), but my specialty is character development, and I enjoy building characters that is viable to the lore I am basing off of.
My worry is that I've made Matthias in too much of a Mary S(t)ue, and yet part of me feels that after around ten years of playing this character on Morrowind and Oblivion, I feel he's earned a bit of power.
You'll see what I mean.
