Someones Jelly. I have a feeling they pushed back Mass Effect 3 so they can be sure to win the game of the year NEXT year. What with Elder Scrolls V and Witcher 2. It would be uncouth of them to be seen with their superiors. ;)

/slight case of serious truth amplification. Mixed with a large dose sarcasm and anti-sarcasm in equal amounts.

On one hand, dike move.
On the other, why must we identify people solely based on where they work? There are plenty of people who give games 0/10, and I'm sure not all of them work for competing companies.

Is there any actual evidence that this user is on BioWare's payroll?

The news said so, and that's enough for most people to believe it.

They had their employees give Dragon Age II a 10 star rating a few months ago.

That was my first thought as well, the article claims it has been confirmed but gives no evidence whatsoever to support that.

I don't have a problem with developers rating other games, or their own, providing they're up front about it. If M_Stannard is open about his affiliation then I see nothing wrong here, although the 10/10 compared to 0/10 suggests little objectivity in his reviews.

I see no problem with reviewing your competitor's game, or even one that you've worked on, but it seems fairly clear what this guy is up to. Tsk tsk.

He's an alleged employee of BioWare, not the developer in whole or even likely a representative in any way. The OP and other posts in this thread imply that BioWare instructed an employee to post iffy reviews, which I see no proof of.

Okay well your post is flawed logic, so you changed states like EA did apparently enough for you to make a distinction. You can be flawed logic Dragonborn1 now, because you were smarter 10 seconds before you made that post. LOGIC WORKS!

Animation, art direction, dialogue, writing, and combat are all "embarassingly awkward?" Failing to deliver satisfying combat or a compelling story that rises above juvenile? Huh, for a sec, I thought this was a review for Dragon Age 2. And The Witcher has a Mary Sue world? Now isn't that the pot calling the kettle black. :P

Heh, I'm hoping that Guild Wars 2 (or any surprise title) will see a 2012 release and knock ME3 out of a few RPG of the year awards.

From what I am reading on the BGF TW2 is a good game.

In my eyes they are not the same company of old. They are EA now, so even if they make a KotOR, or Baulders Gate I can't get too excited for it no more.

That's my point? The old BioWare is dead to me. Those two extra letters changed the entire company forever.

 I can't believe that anyone believes that Bioware instructed an employee to write a ridiculous fan review that nobody even cares about.
