A Bit of Help Anyone?

Post » Fri Mar 22, 2013 5:47 am

Hello,
I've been trying for a little while now to make an autoexec.cfg file for crysis 3 which includes all of my fov, sensitivity, motionblur and other settings that I tweaked to my liking, so that I don't have to bring down the console every time and type in my settings. The thing is, even after looking at instructions on YouTube and various other websites, I can't seem to find the crysis 3 folder to save this autoexec into. I purchased the game through download, and I am on windows 8.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

you downloaded it from origin?

if so, it will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games

unless windows 8 does it differently.

Yeah, you place the autoexec.cfg right into the root of where the game installs. So, to take Fevr's example one step further, it would be:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Crysis 3"

Provided that your OS drive is labeled C, of course.
