I like to listen to music when I'm modding, with my absolutely sixy headphones. Unfortunately when I'm writing dialog all the bass is gone and the sound gets much more silent in general. Is this avoidable? I don't like waiting over the chorus so I can continue writing

It might be because dialogue uses the sound drivers, and probably the mic. So it might be interferring with your music.
I prefer silence, myself. I was not raised on earbuds.
