Bizarre graphics problem

Post » Tue Jan 19, 2016 4:51 am

Upon loading Fallout 4, this script appeared in the lower right hand corner of my screen.

It read,

Rating: Not recommended

Go to settings>Display->Crosshair = Off. Use

NVIDIA Laser sight.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Insert - to toggle this info.

I thought this was an update so I followed the instructions and trust me, It did not fix any problems what-so-ever.

My screen is now a multitude of colors and my FPS is capped at thirty. It should be at 60 on ultra...

Has anyone run into this issue?

The game is seriously unplayable now!

(thanks for reading my post)

Turn off 3D Vision (Stereoscopic 3D) in the Nvidia Control Panel. 3D skews colors and halves framerate because each eye gets different frames.

No, its not the same as vertical sync. Its a 3D feature on Nvidia cards, but you need special glasses and only certain games support it.

If its not in the NV Control Panel, you'll need to reinstall the Nvidia driver (use Custom option) and go back into the NVidia control panel and disable it.
