Hopefully he's doing Okay, and something bad didn't just happen. But he's not exactly know for having a good personality or being intellectual to begin with.

He was probably paid to just show up, read some lines off the teleprompter with only the vaguest idea of what the presentation was all about, and make it look like it was all completely "spontaneous". When the prompter bailed out, he must have decided that he was free to bail out as well. This is what happens when all public statements, performances and presentations are as tightly scripted and micro-managed from the top down as they are these days.

I expected that to be a bit crazier and wacky, considering Bay's aesthetics.
