Hello everyone.

I have recently gotten a new PC, and wanted to play some older games that I completed before, but wanted to see with improved graphics. I remember when the game first came out people had said there was a bug that would cause blood stains in the game to turn black. This does not happen immediately, as it was red when I first played the game. It didn't happen until I had exited to Windows and then played the game via my last save days later. I can't remember what the cause was. I looked via google and checked some forums, but it did not say what the cause was and whether or not there was a fix available that was not the patch.

I installed the 1.1 patch. I have a niggling suspicion that it was the patch itself that caused the glitch. If that was the case, is there any fix for it besides removing the patch or just uninstalling and then re-installing the game but NOT install the 1.1 patch?
