I recently encountered a bug with the Sallow Regent Black Book. I would be getting burned from the darkness in apocrypha and now even though I'm out and back to Skyrim my character is still making a burning/sizzling noise! It's extremely loud and won't go away no matter what. Anyone know how to fix this or has anyone encountered this?

This happened to me too. The following worked for me: make a save in a new slot, then exit the game to the xbox dashboard, then startup Skyrim again and reload the game from the save you just made.

i have the same sizzling, but it also slowly degrades my health so i have to constantly heal. i'll try the new save slot fix and report back

I went back and re-read the books and it stopped the damage and the annoying noise
