I don't know what they taste like.

I hate the black briars so I pick honningbrew mead.

neither,

not a big fan of the owners of either..

I'll go with "Dragons Breath Mead", or "Mead with Juniper Berries"..

It's a signature. A feature found on most internet forums. You can have one yourself by going to your profile page > Edit my Profile > Signature. People mainly use it for links or just funny and witty quotes.

How is it?
If it was a poor excuse for mead then Maven wouldn't need to worry about competition.

Look at the value! It cost 5 more septims.

Meh, it's a stupid debate anyway considering mead is useless besides for role playing purposes.

I know it's stupid. I was just asking why you said it's a poor excuse for mead. :)

Spiced Mead. Theres a meadery in Montana that has an awesome autumn brew. That I order by the case around mid September.

Oh, wait. You mean in game. Hrm. Probbaly just plain ol' Nord Mead. The stuff you find everywhere, since it's a sort of dietary staple and most every family will have their own recipe. I like variety.

Hell, being a dammed fine Alchemist, I'm surprised my character can't make her own. That'd be a fun mod to Hearthfire. Start up your own meadery near your home, at first for your own use and for your friends. After that, go into business once word starts spreading.

And once Maven picks a fight, go to Riften and give her a lesson in just how the food chain really works in Skyrim now.

I actually don't beleive it's the best, otherwise Honningbew wouldn't have take off so quickly. I think Maven wants it to be seen as the best, and literally kills off her competition to keep the market cornered.

If all everyone has to drink is a product of Budweiser, everyone will think Black Crown (or whatever, I think Budweiser is piss in a bottle) will think it's the greatest.

Then when the Dragonborn starts brewing and selling Sam Adams, and the CEO of Bud puts a price on his head, things get interesting

Argonian Blood-Wine.. That bottle looks great, and its effects are a bit better..

That said, of the 2 listed, id go Honeybrew, just because idlike to smack that mouthy, wannabe tough guys Maven, in the teeth... With a griddle!

Honningbrew(Or Nord Mead) I wouldn't want a bottle of Black-Briar Mammoth Drool.
