So I buy the Fallout3, install it witn no problem, and run the game.

Now, when I launch it I here everything that is going one so the game is running correctly but I do not see anything.

Here is my computer :
Platform : Intel Calpella
Carte Mère : ASUSTeK Computer Inc. K42Jv
Chipset : Intel HM55
Processeur : Intel Core i5 430M @ 2266MHz
Mémoire physique : 4096Mo
Carte graphique : Intel® HD Graphics
Système d'Exploitation : Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Familiale Media Center 6.01.7600 (64bits)
DirectX : Version 11.00

It's SUPPOSED to do that when you don't have any real video support. Intel doesn't produce any video cards for gaming. It only has video CHIPS that aren't good enough. The system requirements already told you to have a real AMD or nVIDIA graphics circuit board added to the computer.

What are the Fallout 3 (PC) system requirements?

Minimum System Requirements:

* Windows XP/Vista
* 1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
* 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM
(NVIDIA 6800 "GS" or better/ ATI X850 or better)
{Added my note here, the X800 Pro & up also, and
avoid the Geforce 6800 SE, and 6800 XT}
* 4.6 GBs of free hard drive space

thanks to have replied :the thing is that I have two graphic cards that run with Optimus. my second card is a Geforce GT 335M with 1gb dedicated.
That's why I don't understand.

Between Intel and nVIDIA, the drivers are conflicting; you'll need to fix Windows and Direct3D before the game will "see" the real card, since right now, Direct3D doesn't recognize it.

Could you please give me a little more info on how to do it ? My knowledge of computers is low enough for me to mess up while trying to do it.

ok. I activated the 335M card as default checked that the directX and direct3D were working fine.
Didn't change anything to my problem....

Are you able to play other games with that current set-up?

If so, which ones?

Try updating the Nvidia Optimus graphics drivers. There was an update a few months ago that improved the detection system.

Make sure that FO3 is set to use the dedicated Nvidia 335M card.
Make sure that your PC is running on AC, the Optimus system will not switch to the dedicated Nvidia graphics card when the PC is running off of the battery.
