I'm posting to try and get some help with an issue I've been having. About 90% of the time that I load up Crysis 2, I seem to get a black screen (with sound) on the start up and then I get a message from my tv, saying that it cannot handle the output of the resolution or the refresh rate and that I need to lower one of them and refer to my tv manual. However, I'm not entirely confident that this is the problem since many other people have had the same issue with a black screen on start up, but what is working for those people, isn't working for me. Oddly enough, I played the game twice already on high settings, the first time I didn't have any problem at all, then the second time I got the message from my tv, but it went away after a couple seconds and I played for a few hours both times, now it doesn't work at all. I don't know how to lower my refresh rate to try that, I'm sure my tv can handle at least 60hz or 120hz. Crysis 1 seems to work just fine and this is the first time I'm having this problem with any game. I've also tried every format possible on my tv to no avail. Has anyone heard of this problem? Any suggestions? I can't even ctrl-alt-delete out of the game once the black screen appears with the tv msg, I have to reset my pc. My drivers are all up to date and my current resolution is 1360x768 60hz.
