I realize this might not be the largest group of people that saw this movie, but I just got back from seeing it and I was absolutely speechless. My hands were shaking for ten minutes. Did anyone else see it?

It wasn't the six that unsettled me. Most of the scenes were all extremely disturbing, and the last 20 minutes or so is especially frightening.

All I have to say is that Natalie Portman is extremely hot, and I will murder the person who got her pregnant AND is marrying her!!!

Ah, Darren Aronofsky. Requiem for a Dream was interesting. Maybe I'll check it out.

I didn't know it was an Aronofsky film; I may have to look into it now. I love Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain.

Its such a good movie.

Definitely as good as The Wrestler if not better in my opinion, plus Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman? OH GOD YES

With these types of films I file them away with stuff i'll never see because they just look too..."classy" to me. Read part of a synopsis for it and watched the trailers. It just doesn't interest me to be honest and is a little weird for my tastes.

as someone afraid of all things scary, it doesn't take much to have me cowering like a child.

but this movie was boring as [censored]; there was nothing gripping about it. the trailer made it seem like it would have a neat plot, but then i get the story of swan lake and little else

should have read the synopsis and convinced my family to see something else.

I won't read anything here to risk spoilers, but I just wanted to say that I am going to fight with nails and teeth to see it at TIFF this year. That is the only movie that I am actually enthusiastic about on TIFF's program. I hope Black Swan is just as good as Pontypool and Fish Tank from last years TIFF :celebration:
