Blackrose Prison Break RP

Post » Wed Dec 22, 2010 11:00 pm

Hey, Monkey, don't you think that your character being over 8 feet tall is a bit overkill? Especially considering that the Altmer, who are the tallest beings in Tamriel, are probably only in the 6'6" - 7'0" range. I'm just thinking that having a character that freakishly large is kind of . . . well, freakish. Though, you did make sure to point out several weaknesses that Morzan possesses, so props for that.

Ugh, sorry. I meant him to be 7 and a half. My point is, he is huge. Anyways, he would be screwed in a fight against an archer-spellcaster, most likely.

Noob question, can I post my CS even though Count hasn't accepted it yet?

Generally it is best to wait. I am waiting because my Bounty Hunter is set up so that he will eventually kill, or be killed, by my two prisoner chars.

Ok, I have now sent my CS to Count Lauriel, I'll wait for a reply before posting, like you guys are doing ;)

Btw, let me know what you think of it when I get it here, it's only my second sheet ever eheh :)

Looking forward to working with you (again)!

Indeed, that's the case eheh, Nee-Wom was my first character sheet ever :) I seem to be getting into some cliches though... This character also had family members killed  He is much different though, not the cheerful and friendly guy that Nee is.

And I doubt we will interact much with each other... until you guys catch up with us that is!

Looking forward for the approval to post the sheet here, I am really interested in the way this will develop!

I want in on this, can you reserve me a spot. I'll get to work on a character sheet immediately. I'm thinking bounty hunter, but if it's unbalanced I can do a prisoner instead.

I'd like to join, if you'd want me in. Probably as a bounty hunter.

Ill add a silent Argonian partner to my character to bolster the prisoner count. We have a ton of Boba Fetts and very few Han Solos.

I only waiting the approval, but i totally understand why it takes time, considering his situation. I'll be a bounty hunter and prisoner.

It's possibly my character could end up switching sides at some point, depending on the personalities of all the different characters. Maybe the prisoners arent such bad people. :shifty:

Yeah, if your character likes hanging out with very dangerous criminals. Remember, Blackrose Prison is (lore-wise) the prison where the most dangerous / mentally unstable criminals in the Empire are sent. The people sent there aren't just petty thieves. Or at least if we're going by the description of the Rose that's given http://www.imperial-library.info/content/pocket-guide-empire-third-edition-war-trees-argonia-and-black-marsh.

Well, some of them are just political revolutionaires, so some of them may not be that deranged after all! ;) I expect some psicopaths though. My char, he is neither! Well, maybe a bit of both eheh but nah...

I wonder where Aeultha falls? She's totally nice, but a bounty-hunter just the same. I wanted to compare her to Mrs. Doubtfire meets Ms. Truchbull, but... :lmao:

SNIP character sheet. Still waiting for approval, I suppose. I missed this stipulation first time 'round.

Thanks! When can we expect the role-play to begin? It looks like we have a lot of character sheets to go still?

The Count is busy with real-life issues, I guess.

Yeah, if you didn't know, he got kicked out of home and has to find a job and place to stay, so it may be awhile before this RP starts.

Hi guys. Sorry about the delay. My current living situation is at my mothers house. Where the PC is off limits and whatnot (I'm almost 19 ffs), but whatever. When I get a few spare moments on a PC I'll sort through the character sheets I've been sent and get a first post sorted. A week or two at the most until this starts, I reckon.

Thanks for bearing with me :)

" Blackrose, was broken last night. It isn’t yet known how many inmates escaped"

Any clues as to how this happened allowed. I've got a decent idea in my mind, but I think this detail could finalise it.
Count me in for now :hubbahubba:

Hey I'm quite interested in this. But I've never RPed before so I don't want to derail everyone else.
I'd happily be a Prisoner or a Bounty Hunter depending on which need balancing.
Also is there anywhere I could learn about how these things work in a broad sense?

It's ok to be your first RP, if the people are supportive they will even give you hints on how you could get better and such! I am currently trying it for the first time, on another RP, Desert Rose, with a lot of people that will also enter on this one (which will be my second) and I for one am finding it a great experience, and kind of figured there isn't much to know... I can pretty much realize what is wrong with my writing and try to improve it on later posts so... it pretty much comes down to just writing :D Oh, and that guide is useful, helped me grasp the basis of how I should write and how do RPs work.

Yeah, RPing is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, and people are real supportive! I'm still new to the scene as well, so I know what you're going through :P
