I find it stupid how strong blacksmithing items are, actually...id say they are the best in the game. I dont feel like i should go exploring anymore for new armor/weapons because i know that i have the most powerful gear. The daedric relic weapons dont even compare to the easy to make blacksmithing daedric weapons, and the daedric relic armors though some have nice effects are again no comparison. In oblivion there was always a reason to keep adventuring/questing as there was always a good chance to find better items. AND why are the daedric relics so crappy in this game? In oblivion they were some of the best yet in this game i can make then enchant an item to be twice as good, thats without even upgrading it.

Easy answer is to not take up smithing and enchanting. Not what you want to hear obviously, but I wouldn't hold your breath for some big re-itemization patch.
