My point is to make my character more like the one I have in a soon to start role-play in the fan-fic section. In it, the character has these specially made gauntlets, blackwood armor design, which a master forge has made into better fit a hand to hand style of fighting, mostly a design thing that change the look of them and removes the huge hand protection piece that is typical of a blackwood gauntlet. my character still uses hammers as main weapon, but the gauntlets are supposed to be a back up weapon, in case of disarm. I'd appreciate if someone proficient, or less proficient who wants to see if he can do the change, would like to try to change the gauntlets

The change doesn't need to change all the blackwood gauntlets, it can be a unique piece of armor that you place in a place easy to find, I've seen mods adding bandanas and such things into crates they simply drop into a place, I think that could work.

Yes it is better in the mods section, because what you request needs modelling skills, and the Construction Set doesn't provide those.

How much work would changing the gauntlets looks take? A very helpful person on the forum was able to do magic tricks with colors and was very fast with it, I'm wondering how huge re-designing one piece of blackwood gauntlets would take in comparison.
