I have the game on steam.

I am able to open the launcher and access all of the options and so on.

My issue is that when I press the play button the game goes to a balck screen and becomes unresponsive.

I know the game works on my PC because I am able to play in windowed mode.

I would even be happy with a way of making the borderless window full screen if that is what I must do.

Any help is welcome

Are tryed to install latest drivers? Can you post event log message (you can find it in windows control panel, seems like many people have crash in nvidia driver library)?

check my post in this forum, i solved this one.

I was able to make the windowed mode full screen by changing a file, a step by step can be found on Reddit.

Although I am able to get it into full screen, the game still crashes at various points and I need to restart.

I checked that the firewall was blocking it and it had a tick beside it showing that it had access (in other words, the issue you are experiencing isn't the same as mine).

I've got my firewall turned off, and i get this black screen when booting up the game randomly.

However i am able to run the game, just not every attempt.

I had been checking over and I meet the minimum specs and everything. I just want to play fallout...

when I play the game in windowed mode and full screen it still crashes a little way into the game
