Block powerful hit == Windows XP ding : IV

Once during every Oblivion play session the Windows XP Ding sound when I block a hit that is powerful. From there, I am able to continue playing until I'm done playing and exit. It will play the XP ding sound when I exit and it may or may not crash with a popup and return to desktop. Is Oblivion trying to crash when I block that hit? It's minor, but having that ding sound is so frustrating when I think that my Oblivion is more or less stable, more stable than I've ever had it before with mods. Any advice on what to look for?

Oh, so it is preventing a crash then. I'm happy to have it and surprised to see in in this install. Must update to the newest version.

Remove it and fix your mods setup. Crash prevention = save corruption.
