My Blockbuster Movielink player/downloader is screwing up. I click on "Library" and click play on my movie. After the little Blockbuster intro, a dialogue box pops up asking if I want to use the "ffdshow" codec. Regardless of what I say, the video stops playing at 2 seconds, the audio keeps going and Movielink locks up (I get the "ping" sound if I click anywhere on it).

I also get an occasional pop-up thing that says a media player or something in my browser is preventing the action I want to do in Movielink. I've exited everything (Firefox, AIM, Windows Sidebar) and it still happens.

Any idea what's going on?

Froze at 3 seconds. Didn't get the ffdshow popup this time, though. Haven't tried restarting my computer yet. I'll try it again in the morning.

Edit: There's an option to play it in an external media player, which worked flawlessly. Lock 'er up!
