I'm having issues trying to get the Hjerim house to come on the market, and looking online, there looks like a ton of bugs related to it. Hoping that you folks can at least narrow things down...

Blood on the Ice is complete to the point where the wizard is back in his lab, and the murderer is dead.

Talked to the Jarl's aide, and he says that the guards will be a bit nicer.

Random street talk says the house is for sale.

Looted the murderer's shop.

Jarl's aide "J" does not offer the house for sale. Only two dialogue options are "what do you do" and "tell me about Windhelm"

Looking online, it looks like the FULL completion of Blood on the Ice will trigger the house for sale. I think I did that?

I have not started the Stormcloak questline; is this required?

Other ideas?

Blood On The Ice is an absolute disaster area of bugs. It is the bane of our existence on the Unofficial Patch Project team.

If you play on PC, the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch can fix a great number of BOTI bugs, though since you're already well through it, many fixes may not be retroactive.

And forgot to mention that I'm on a 360....so no console either
