My question is related to the quest in Windhelm to find the butcher... does the blood ever go away? Or am I going to have to mod the blood and body parts away? Nice house upgraded but the blood and parts stay... okay.

I have not tried to ~ then click and type Disable. I do not think the blood at least can be handled that way.

Talk to steward and ask him to clean up the house.

This is the glitchiest quest in the game, bar none.

Is that a legit option?

I have not seen anything like that, I have already bought all the upgrades for my home as well.

Actually if you buy the kitchen area before the cleanup upgrade, you may find the blood is there permanently. Thank you for your purchase! :shakehead:

It's a bugged option. If you choose to upgrade any space before selecting the clean up option it will not show up again.

You are lucky you can even buy the house the quest wont even start for me. :sadvaultboy:

I didn't even buy the house until I had finished the whole war line on the stormcloaks side and ulfric gave me the option. Then I miraculously completed that quest when I went into my home.
