Alright, I've gotten to the point of examing the house, and once I do and talk to Jorleif I can't continue the quest. I can ask about the both pieces you find, but I only get a quest marker for the item that needs to be examined. What's more, I can't even find Viola anywhere, though again I have no quest marker to guide me. I've tries everything I can think of, but I don't want to give spoilers out.

Help?

I can't even start this quest. It is filled with bugs. Many people are also having you're problem which could have started from a variety of reasons such as: you finishing the civil war, you finishing the dark brotherhood, killing the killer (ciexto whatever his name is), sending the jarl's mage to prison, and much more. You will have to wait a week for the patch to sent out.

It placed a marker on Viola for me, so I just went to the marker. Not sure if you will be that lucky. I found her wandering the streets so if you wander around enough you should be able to find her hopefully.

I can't even open dialogue with her.... >:(
