Bloodlet Throne crashing system

Post » Mon May 21, 2012 5:00 am

Upon trying to enter the Bloodlet Throne to complete a portion of the Assist Falkreath quests (destroy the vampire Vighar), the game will go to a load screen that it never recovers from. It doesn't freeze, it just stays on the black screen with mist slowly rolling upward. I had previously cleared the area if that matters.

If I quit the game, the PS3 will wait a few moments, beep 3 times and restart itself. I'm pretty sure that's not very good.

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I damaging my system?

Fully updated with a save file just over 8mb.

Thanks.

Did you try it multiple times?

I actually just did this one last night and had no problems. All of my problems are related to the civil war quests.

One question tho, is your autosave off?

Yes, three times. I also gave the game a good 10 minutes to load with no luck.

Thought I killed autosave, but maybe I forgot. Will check, thanks.

The only reason I ask is when you go thru a door is when it autosaves.

Back up your save files, uninstall and install the game again. Worked for a friend of mine on another quest but with the same problem.

That is a good idea. I may try that to resolve other problems. Thanks.

All auto-saving is disabled.

Backed up save file, uninstalled and reinstalled.

Same issue. Any ideas? Start over?

Thanks.
