- Says "specified update directory 'C' does not exist" when I try to run the bloodmoon patch off of the bethesda website. It is not the game of the year edition but the original game with the two expansion CDs. I hadn't played in a few years and figured I'd fire it up again on my new machine.

I am running windows 7 and have tried installing to the default install directory and to a c:\games\morrowind directory. I get the same error in both cases.

Nevermind - worked when I installed it under the Program Files directory instead of the "Program Files (x86)" directory. *sigh* you'd think an update installer would fail to an option to browse for the correct directory in that scenario rather than simply fail and close.
