How come when i headshot something now they turn into a major parapalegic? head, both arms, and boh legs fly off? every time. is it bloody mess? never taking it again

yes its a waste of a perk.

What about the 5% extra damage?

That, and I like the sight of my enemies becoming a bloody mess :3 Makes me think I used telekinesis to make 'em implode >3

i'm building a brawler and i've previously used science damage perks [robot/insect] to up my damage but i'm considering going dumb and taking this perk. how often does the exploding corpse happen? it says "often" on wiki but how often is that? i've heard the mysterious strangers appearance is "occassional" which translates to 10% of the time, so is often 80~%? i'm trying to work out if i can handle the annoyance for the damage bonus

i use my hunting rifle mostly with 100 sm and usually everything i kill. i always use vats and headshots. if a head would normally blow off they turn into a bloody deformed manican.

I took this perk once of course, just to see it. After 5 minutes I was done. Gave it a little extra time, still done. So reloaded. I don't believe that extra five percent is worth it. Looting bodies out in the wastes, gets hard sometimes.

Not to mention the way the bodies splatter all over the place if you free-shoot (don't use VATS). I also decided it wasn't worth the trouble, reloaded and picked something else.

I do find it can annoying sometimes, but for a 5% bonus I think it's worth it, also the vats mode shots gross my girlfriend out :laugh:

when i played the game the first time, i took it.
and has got really annoying, everytime i shot raiders in the head, it looked like i used a fatman, it svcks...
really dissapointing, i dont know why they haven't patch it. i dont think they even like it to themselve.


but im wondering, their carcass is only destructable with that perk right???
