bloody screen/ tunnel vision

Post » Tue Jun 21, 2011 3:48 am

I always thought the blood was meant to look like it's splattered on the screen than in your eyes. Obviously, if it was meant to be in your eyes it would look more like a red blurred vision than a blood splatter which you can clearly see.

Maybe it's just me but I always felt like it was like you had blood splattered on your face rather than in your eyes. Eh. *shrugs*

Just give me a good old fashioned health bar. I'm tired of FPS elements sneaking into RPGs.

^ This. I hate those screen blood/blur/red pulse effects. They serve no purpose other than giving me headaches.

Why is there a pane of glass between me and my game? It's annoying and I refuse to play Skyrim unless there's an option to turn it off.

Bloody Screen.. EPIC.. So real..

I absolutely hate bloody screen... blurred vision doesn't bother me though. But to me the bloody screen just completely svcks all the energy out of the room. :whistling:

I don't have a problem with it, but it'd probably be for the best if there was an option included to turn it off (and if there isn't, PC users will be able to get a modded one anyway, in all likely hood).

Not a fan of these, there should be an option to turn it off. Perhaps the devs can think of something better and more original to add to immersion.

I would prefer it if i didn't have blood splatters on the glass of the screen. Likewise with rain drops. It's alright for games with windows (like cars. and games where someone is wearing a helmet with a glass visor) but it is NOT ok for someone who is wandering through the game world without glass of any kind anywhere near their eyes.

I imagine that in real life, if rain drops slid down the surface of our eyes like they do in TES, that we would have evolved windscreen wipers a long time ago.

I like the blur, and I like the black vision. I don't really like the bloody screen though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cnVZx9V_fY
