Hi. I have a weird problem. It doesn't happen all the time. In fact it doesn't even happen most of the time.

Sometimes there's a blue border around my screen. Or at least there sort of is... It's only on the top, left and bottom sides, I think. I tried to screencap it but I did it wrong and didn't get a screenshot.

Anyone know what this could be?

I'm using an LCD monitor capped at 1024x768 with a default of 60hz refresh rate.

Maybe I should twiddle with the buttons on my monitor in case I got it un-centered or something.

This is a graphical artifact caused by forcing AA in the game (such as when you are using HDR lighting).

That's weird... I was trying to use AA with Catalyst, instead of the game settings, to see if it would work. It didn't seem to work though so now I'm just using in-game AA. Also I have just Bloom on.

Any idea why it would still be doing that?

Anyone? It's still happening.

That's a known AA glitch in certain ATi cards even if ATi doesn't officially acknowledge it.

A driver update might help.

Start the game and ALT+TAB, then 'Switch To' Oblivion via the Task Manager. That should fix it.
