Bluescreen after opening Video...

Post » Mon Jan 31, 2011 1:49 am

I just bought crysis 2 German uncut version from a Store. It installad fine and updated to V1.1 without error messages. I created an account and actived the game. Made Graphic settings and so on.

After starting the game withe submarine video sequence the game freezes shortly after that guy blows off this alien in the air. Just when the Nanosuit sequence in the Video begins. I tried a few Graphic options but each time Windows quits with a blue screen! (I never had blue screens before on Win7)

Hardware:
Athlon X64 6000+ 4GB DDR2-800 RAM, ATI 5770 Grafics, 60 GB Supertalent SSD Drive, onboard sound.
Software:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, Comodo Internet security

Yeah i know.
I get a complete computer lock up if im in full screen mode and a bluescreen if im in windowed mode.
Fishing around and looking at all the complaints i can find about the game, Ive noticed that its really only people who have Windows 7 64bit having problems.

For me, Im running
Core i7 860
Radeon 5870
4gb DDR3 ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

if you are overclocked, remove the OC and play at stock. if youare not OCed re-install drivers.

Getting random lock up's\BSOD's on win7 64bit too. Checked temperatures on memory\CPU\VGA. All in good condition.
I guess it can be an ATI VGA drivers\general compatability problem.

Hardware:
Intel ะก2D E7400
Radeon HD4850
4Gb DDR2 Ram

Bluescreen = hardware issue.

Check your driver version, roll back if you're up to date.
