Blurring The Lines

Awesome. Exactly what I wanted to hear. I just wasn't sure on the issue.

Why can't people just read the Compendium?

won't it be awkward seeing all the cutscenes over and over again while doing the missions in mp after you beat them?

It may be awkward, but I rather see a cutscene than watch a loadscreen. Maybe you're able to turn them off?

you can skip, or customize load-outs(perhaps customization aswell) or just watch it

Poor Nikto. ^^

Yes, and a lot of your earned XP points will probably go into customization. I don't know how new/better abilities will be unlocked, but I am sure that a max level character still doesn't have all abilities available.
You'll have to make a choice: Will I take general skills? Will I take class-specific skills? And how do I want these two to be balanced?

Well, there you have your answer. I have faith in SD when it comes to game balance.

You dont use Xp to get new clothing you get new apparel from doing challenges what unlocks the new clothing options. Also they have already stated that you will get enough skill points to specialize in one class and have a few points left over to dabble other places.

Watch the video called: The end of the genre as we know it. Start watching at 1:50
Mr. Wedgwood says it literally: You earn experience points for all your successes which you can spend on unlocks...
However, when he's customizing you can see the cost in credits of some kind, so I guess you're right.

You're right. In the same vid, mentioned above at the 0:14 mark, you could choose: "Skip intro" and "Show Deployment"

Who knows then they have changes it multiple times maybe you will use Xp now. In the begining they has a currency system along with XP system and you used the currency to purchase apparel then they stated in multiple articles that they switched it to challenges and completing certain challenges unlocked certain apparel ect. So maybe they decided to change again although I think he ment you can spend on unlocks meaning can purchase abilities for your character.

Yea, he said xp and the video showed some kind off currency. I just can't tell at this point. Maybe someone else knows it exactly.

Too long? Beats trying to search the entire internet looking for answers. Or coming here and asking the exact same questions that have been asked a million times.

What is this mysterious freeplay, many people have asked questions about it but everyone has avoided it, now look what happened when i searched the info compendium

1. Brink is all about class-based, team objective gameplay. This is true whether you play campaign or freeplay; the game is always class-based objective. There is no Death Match, Team Deathmatch, CTF, Capture and Hold, King of the Hill, or any other "traditional" gametype. Although there are none of these modes, elements of all these gametypes will be present in Brink.

2. - The game features a campaign mode where you can play through missions and progress through the story or you can just play individual matches the way you want, without worrying about a campaign.
- If you’re playing Brink in Free Play mode, you can change your faction freely at any point and effectively become part of the “enemy” team.

Its almost like if you listen advice you learn something, :ooo:

Maybe someone does...

Either im extremely stupid or he is telling you to search the compendium.
