horses provide a quick way to traverse long stretches of land without the use of fast travel, but will there be an aquatic equivalent, such as small sailboats or paddle-boats/canoes? Would you like to see such things in skyrim, and what do you think the chances are of them being included?

I think it's already been confirmed that they wont be in the game. I'm hoping there will still be boats at dock like in Oblivion... The Bloated Float was one of my favorite quests

lol, I dunno what people are talking about, boats are definitely in the game. They said you can't control them

I am guessing there will be, but will not be able to either get aboard them, or perhaps in the far distance.
