body class

Now now its a fine tactic. Set up turret and mines on the main route from enemy spawn to objective. So they get killed or have to go around,

Or just easily dispose of the turret...

Then you still have the mines and two guys behind your lines.

Mines are dealt with easily, either by Operatives spotting them, or tossing nades in high traffic areas. It was common practice to use nades to find mines in previous SD games - after so long, you just knew where to look for them. Besides, even if someone ran through a minefield, it would just clear the way for the rest of the team. The chances that 2 players (him and his friend) would be able to fend off wave after wave of spawning players long enough to actually make a difference, without dying in the process, is slim to none.

The only way I see what he proposed actually working, is if the team as a whole attacked, (or at least a squad) not just 2 players. He may have the right idea, but it is being applied poorly.

Splash Damage wanted to do that very badly, but they decided they could focus on what they already had and create better options. maby DLC though :hubbahubba:

No. And before anyone bemoans you for not reading up older posts before asking, I'll refer you to H0RSE's Brink compendium at Fragworld where you can find all current available info on the game :

This is a tiny bit off topic and I don't know if this has already been addressed, but do certain archetypes only work with certain body classes? Like is it possible to have Light versions of "the Bomb" or heavy versions of "the bug"? Things like that. Just curious.

By the way, I would go with medium. I always like a nice balance.

You can use any archetype with any body type.

My first character'ss probobly going to be a medium character, then depending on how I feel confortable playing I'll either step it up to heavy or go down to light.

Another one of these threads eh? Heh, nothing ever really changes around here I guess. Anyway, I like the versatility of the Medium guys, so that's probably what I'll end up using the most. And contrary to my sig (that's just clan stuff), I plan on being an Engineer or a Soldier, mostly. But of course, my short attention span will probably have me switching characters, classes, and weapons every other match, so I'm definitely going to give everything a try.

Doubt it. I can see lots of people going for the nade upgrades and ammo handouts and infinite ammo. I always see a lack of medics. It's why I'm always one.
