Big time. But only players as good as wraith will actually be worth anything as an Operative.....

Doubt it. I can see lots of people going for the nade upgrades and ammo handouts and infinite ammo. I always see a lack of medics. It's why I'm always one.

Same here. I expect the majority of players to be soldiers or operatives. I chose medic because I think it better suits my character then engineer. But also because I try going for and doing things the majority isn't :thumbsup:

I disagree, and will do my best to dispel that illusion upon the game's release. I plan on my main Operative guy being a Medium, and I will try to avoid using disguises entirely. Just hacking stuff and putting up radar for my team. I'm gonna be the most teamwork-oriented Operative ever!

For me, it really depends on how effective being disguised behind enemy lines will be compared to this in terms of assisting your team. Because if I feel I can help my team more by playing similarly to how you described, I probably will.

EDIT: Oh, and for the record, I see your method being quite effective - I just think people keep seeing the Bug when they picture Operative, and associate him with a secret agent assassinating people behind enemy lines.

Different scenarios will call for different body types. I will be using all three as necessary. For instance, for a front-lines medic, I would go with a heavy. If it were a map in which area denial was important, I'd go with a light engineer. If I needed a happy medium of powerful weaponry, health, and agility- say for maybe a support soldier- I'd go with medium.

Assassinating key enemies is only one of the things that the operative seems to be able to focus on. Just the knowledge that an enemy operative is behind you somewhere so do you go hunt for him or stay and defend the objective?

I would stay and defend the objective if that's what I'm told to do / find best, but I will have to look behind me now and then, yeah?

Hopefully you or someone else wont be behind me, but infront of me, and not on the opposite side :vaultboy: (I do not like opposing Spies that much, since they always.. Get me)

Heh, I'm with you there. Even though I probably will use disguises to get behind enemy lines and hack their turrets more easily.
