Hi everyone. I recently picked up the GOTY edition and I'm trying to just find a decent body and face mod that go well together for a female Wood Elf I made. I'm trying not to mod too much since I haven't beaten the game yet )no levelling changes, extras monster, OOO, etc.) but I cannot get rid of the patchwork bodies and blantant necklines, hand issues and such. I did hear the wood elf race is tricky in regards to this. Does anybody have good combo recommendation or links?
I am using OBMM and I have tried:
IFT (face)
HGEC Eye Candy
HGEC Body Seam Reducer
HGEC stock armor body overhaul (from TES nexus - kept HGEC textures)
Robert's female body w/ fix and Neckline reducers

FYI, I am also running Darnified UI, Elven Map Redux, Corean Hair for original races, UOP for Oblivion, Supplemental UOP, UOP Official Mods, and UOP Shivering Isles. Any other ESSENTIAL mods I should Have? Thanks so much in advance!!!!

HGEC and Robert's female body are not compatible. In this case, what happens is that the more recent you install will override the other. I think... can't remember if either has ESPs that would interfere with that theory. Hm, I'll have to check some time. But basically, use one or the other, as they're intended to do precisely the same thing, and you just can't have that working in Oblivion.


Eventually (sooner or later) Wrye Bash. BOSS is also a good idea, for most people. I'd suggest using EVE HGEC, if you like HGEC that is. Or TGND, which also has good support, and ever more, because it's quite new.

For faces, you might want to try New Face Textures as well.

Thank you, sounds good! I'll try New Face Textures (Does that conflict w/ IFT?) and run EVE HGEC (no orginal HG EC needed right?) I'm also going to install Wrye Bash, I've head a lot of good things about it, Does that mean I should skip on OBMM and just use Wrye Bash only? I've heard of the Wrye Bash Bain for mod installs.
