Body not being converted

I'm using Lous' male Jenovas Child for my latest character. I also have the Better Bodies 2.2 nvde version installed in my game. I've noticed though, that all of the male NPCs that I've killed are the nvde version but my character has underwear like vanilla MW. For some reason, it didn't convert. :shrug: Is there a way to make the conversion or am I stuck with this. Thanks.

BB nvde only affects the Vannila bodies. If your using a BB custom race then you are stuck with the meshes the author of that race mod used.... unless you change the meshes and textures in the cs yourself.

Thanks for the reply. I don't even know if this is a BB race and I have no idea how to change it in the cs.

L_FF7_M_SKIN.tga for the texture at least in my download (i don't play that race, i looked into the files). there is only an underwear version of it. the way i work around this usually is:
take a good high-rez tex (like http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5635) with a skin colour most similar to the one you need and convert the colour bit by bit. use the old texture for reference. then just give the right name and copy-paste over the old texture (the folder is louis - at least in my structures. i use this procedure for every time i'm in need for a naked man (mosty the women are naked...) or a haired body or whatelse...
you'll need the naked mesh for it (from bb).

Thank you Sister. At this time I don't have any idea about how to do what you are talking about. I don't have any editing programs so unless I can do it all in the cs I'm out of luck. any help you could give me would be appreciated. :foodndrink:

Sounds like you have all you need to make the change without going into the CS at all.

All you do is pick out a male BB mesh with the dangly parts - which you already have - I don't recall the skin tone of Jenova's child but you want to pick out one which is similar - breton or something

Copy this mesh into your jenova's child folder - you should see the jenova child BB mesh in that folder - take it out and copy it's file name - go back into the folder and copy this file name onto the the dangly BB mesh by using the rename function (or doubleclick in the file name and paste it there)

Now your jenova child body mesh will point to a renamed BB mesh which in turn points back to the BB texture folder for the starkers look you are after
