Body types and the SMART system.

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 6:25 am

I just watched vid from E3 2010 and apparently the heavy bod type wont be able to use the smart system? I don't get it. Whats gunna be the main difference in the body types besides the health?

they can just not to the same extent as medium and light so things waist height can be moved over and yea the trade off is health as light and medium dont have as much health or choice of weapons or ability use

edit: >.< ninja'd  although mine was more detailed

Heavies have the most health and can use all weapons but has mimnal options for using SMART. Medium can do parkour except for wall hopping (HOPPING, NOT wall running), and they can use light and medium weapons and they have, as you would expecy, average health. Lights can can use SMART to it's full extent, but can only use light weapons and has the smallist amount of health compared to the other body types.

All bodytypes have the same amount of supply pips, some perks/skills/etc can increase your maximim supply pip count.

To be specific with respect to parkour, heavies can only vault over objects that are about waist height. Mediums can climb over objects that are about as tall as they are. All the while, Lights can do a "wall hop" (which is basically like a double jump up a wall) to reach taller platforms.

They have the same about of supplies yes.

Amount* (Long day at work? I know how you feel)

And yes everything about ammo and supplies is the same. The difference between body types is:
1)Function of the SMART system
2)The weapons that can be used.

You can.

But everyone can do that, so assuming both players have every bonus possible, the Heavy will still have more health.

Also, I was surprised how nimbly the heavy can jump over waist high things, I'd have expected him to have a different animation.
