Boethia's Quest ? : V

After I sacrifice my thrall and she appears, I can talk to her, she just keeps saying " Huurrrrr, wearing flesh is so distasteful. You have caught my attention mortal. That is most unwise." And she just keeps repeating the same thing over and over, what's up with this? Another bugged quest? Someone help me out

I honestly can't help you otherwise I would have.. I will bump it for you in hopes that you receive an answer (since my last post wasn't helpful or on topic) are you able to fast travel and then travel back? Are you able to hit TAB and exit the conversation and rejoin the conversation?

No offence but this is kinda obvious.. don't you think most people would resort to this the first time they encounter a bugged quest?.. I'm asking if someone else has gotten this bug before and if they got it to work since people who haven't encountered this bug wouldn't be able to help.

i think the issue is who u sacrificed. i believe u need to sacrifice an actual person (companion) rather than a thrall.

Well, obviously I sacrificed an actual companion (in this case Lydia) but well bugged quest is.. bugged :sadvaultboy:

ah, well u said u sacrificed a thrall, which implies a dead thrall like the ones from the conjuring tree...

Boethiah says to bring a "Thrall". This only implies that the follower is seen as a slave, servant, or captive through the eyes of Boethiah and the player. It doesn't imply an undead entitity.

Undead Thrall = undead servant/slave

Thrall = servant/slave

look up the definition if you don't believe me.

I have the exact same bug, and I've found several other threads in this forum with the same problem.

I'm afraid either it gets patched or I'm going to have to forgo this quest.

If I were PC I could start it from the console, but I am 360 so no such luck.

Kill all the boethiah followers to advance the bugged quest.... worked for me.

Yep, I had this bug. I killed all the cultists, and Boethia's "apparition" switched from Lydia to one of the other dead people, and it advanced normally.

plz i need help, my thrall simply won't use the sacrifice stone, he just keeps saying something like "whatever it is, it will be done" and does nothing

I had the bug so I tried killing all the cultists and I *still* had the same bug. She did appear but just like when I sacrificed my follower Boethia just kept saying that wearing human flesh was so distasteful or something and nothing else. Does anyone know console commands to advance this or make conversation possible? I'm desperate! I'm a thief so I need that ebony mail haha.

add another to the list of having this quest bugged...tried this with Lydia, Sven, Roggi and Erik the Slayer. Come to think of it, I've never been able to get a follower to do anything I've ask him/her to do.. in a fit of rage, I murdered all the cultists and hey, guess what, the quest continues, but I'm stuck at sacrificing someone again...i'm scared to check what other quests are bugged...i'm seriously losing a lot of faith with these guys
