I am having a problem with 'Boethiahs Calling,' I went to the place where those

people are worshipping Boethiah. I killed them all, then Boethiah's Conduit appears and I talk to her.

She says to sacrifice a thrall. I went to Riften and hired a wizard from the Bee and Barb. Told him to touch the pillar,

killed him. Waited 10 minutes and nothing happened. I remembered that way before I was level 30 like... lvl 15 I hired Stenvar from

Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm and sacrificed him without the quest. I think that kind of screwed up the quest. I am

an assassin/heavy armor character so I am wondering if there is another way to get the Ebony Chain Mail.

Since there are no Console Commands of Xbox I am really anxious. And there aren't any saves BEFORE is sacrified Stenvar and I do have a save that was 3 hours before I ACTUALLY got the quest.

my friend had this problem, he just reloaded and tried a bunch and eventually got lucky, or gave up on it. cant remember

Tried a bunch of sacrifices? Because I have heard that It doesnt work with all followers.

There is no other way to get the ebony mail. If you sacrificed someone prior to receiving the quest, it is very likely that this lead to the problem you're having. You could try loading the save prior to getting the quest and try again, but the "damage" may have been already done when you sacrificed Stenvar early on in the game. Since you don't have a save before you killed Stenvar, your only option may be to start a new game if you want the ebony mail.

The following bug report from one of the wikis may relate to the problem you've encountered:

If the Sacellum of Boethiah is discovered before level 30, the cultists will not appear, and the quest will be stuck on the objective "Discover the Shrine of Boethiah". The Dragonborn will still be able to sacrifice a follower and speak to Boethiah, but will be unable to complete the quest.
