Boethiah's Calling: Knifepoint ridge

Post » Wed Aug 22, 2012 9:04 am

I'm attempting to sneak in the camp and kill everyone stealthly, however, no matter what, the first throat I cut alerts the entire camp to me and they all walk to my position. Is this some kind of glitch?

My sneak is 96 and I have all 5 of the stealth perks. I am not wearing any armor.

It takes a lot of effort to even get into the camp without them seeing me at night. I feel like something has gone wrong with my stealth skill.

Have any of you completed this quest without being noticed?

This is the first time I've had people alerted to me when I kill someone with an automatic kill backstab.

I finished the quest undetected. Unfortunately, I don't remember how I did because the last time I did the quest was eight and a half months ago.

I'll try it again on my Assassin character and see if I can do it again.

I've never done Boethiah's Calling, but I have cleared out Knifepoint Ridge before. I was able to do it undetected, but I have 4 pieces of Fortify Sneak +40% in addition to Sneak 100 and all the perks.

I'm pretty sure I did do it sneakily (or at least the final "boss") but it was a long time ago, on my first character.

Ok, the quest is completed. It seems I needed to make some stealth kills with a bow since other bandits were hearing the corpses of their buddies as they fell to the ground.

The ebony mail from Boethiah is really cool, but it's not for this character, so, until I get a house with a manakin, I'll put it in a chest in Breezehome. :)

Thanks to those who replied. Happy gaming to you. I hope you do not take a sword to the chest.
