Justy out of curiousity.....

Before Fallout:New Vegas was officially released, if a person preordered the game from one of 4 stores, a bonus content was included. For instance, I pre-ordered mine from GameStop and received the armoured vault suit and the weathered 10mm pistol as a bonus. I wish I would have preordered from the store that offered the caravan shotgun and the special leather armour instead.

Does anyone know if that is still available and who sold it?

Or will the caravan shotgun and leather armour be made available in the future?

These items are extremely common and easy to obtain with any copy of the game. The weathered 10mm pistol is actually a unique 10mm pistol. That pack also comes with a canteen which slows dehydration on hardcoe mode. Gamestop's pack was the only one that contained things you can't obtain playing the game.

The Caravan pack was included with Steam and Walmart preorders in North America, although I notice you're using British spelling so you may need to check out http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/08/17/fallout-new-vegas-pre-order-details-for-europe-australia-and-south-africa/ instead.

I doubt anyone has extended their pre-order offers now that the game has been released, it sort of defeats the purpose of a pre-order offer.


I've seen rumors that it's being considered but if anything firmer has been said I'm not aware of it - it could very well be wishing thinking. :shrug:

I came across leather armor and a caravan shotgun just a few hours of game play after leaving Goodsprings (I think I was halfway to Nipton) after killing some jackal gang members. Don't worry, you'll find those items.

Um... you don't like the Vault 13 canteen?
